The Fleet & Facilities Manager is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of the organization, specifically in all areas that keep the Fleet & Facility running smoothly. Must be comfortable working independently and within a team environment. Supports both Landcare and Install divisions with equipment repairs, maintenance, and purchasing.
Responsibilities
- Repairs and performs preventative maintenance on all vehicles & equipment
- Updates and maintains all maintenance records
- Maintains the upkeep and repairs of the facility
- Provides material & inventory organization support
- Oversees security measures
- Offers cost saving ideas for vehicles & equipment
- Coordinates material returns
- Offers costs saving ideas on facility
- Coordinate with outsourced facility contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Previous work experience in fleet and facility management
- Strong computer and app skills
- Strong oral & written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in mechanical / repair / handyman skills
