Responsibilities- Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Verify that transactions are recorded correctly to account for accurate reporting
- Enter data, maintain records and payroll reports, and financial statements
- Work closely with accounting team to create and analyze financial reports
- Process invoices, accounts payable, and tax payments
- Process accounts receivable
- Process payroll
- Perform job costing
Necessary skills and requirements- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Quickbooks Online experience and proficiency
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication - written and verbal in English
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Willing to wear multiple hats and perform a somewhat diverse set of responsibilities
- Must be friendly, able to engage with coworkers, and be a team player
- Able and willing to commute to office in Commerce Township, Michigan. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
Compensation & Benefits- $60,000 - $65,000 starting salary
