Job Purpose:
Performs landscaping services for assigned area
Job Duties And Responsibilities:

- Maintains appearance of flower gardens, trees and lawns by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees, watering and pruning plants and trees, and applying fertilizer as needed.
- Keeps sprinkler systems operational by routinely inspecting systems, repairing or replacing broken or missing parts, and reporting issues requiring further attention.
- Maintains safe work area by observing established safety standards while using tools, performing equipment repairs, and cleaning work areas.
- Assists with maintenance of reservation facilities by performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Job Specifications:
Education and Experience:
Essential:
- 1 year of landscaping experience
- Driver’s License in good standing
Desirable:
- Facilities maintenance experience
- Landscaping experience
Essential:
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to understand and follow written directions and verbal directives
- Ability to use trade tools
- Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time
- Ability to crouch, bend and stoop
- Ability to grasp and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to appear for work on time
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure
