Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Horticulturist role based in Knoxville, TN. The Horticulturist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant care, including gardening, landscaping, and maintaining outdoor spaces. Responsibilities include plant selection, landscape maintenance, irrigation systems management, and ensuring the health and growth of vegetation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with design teams, assist in the planning of landscape projects, and apply expert knowledge of horticultural techniques to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Gardening and Landscape Maintenance to ensure upkeep and aesthetics of outdoor spaces
- Knowledge of Botany and plant care techniques to support healthy growth and biodiversity
- Familiarity with Irrigation systems operation and maintenance to ensure plant health
- Expertise in Landscaping, including layout and plant selection, to deliver sustainable and visually appealing designs
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for landscape tasks
- Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred
- Certifications in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field are a plus
