We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Branch Manager to lead our Canonsburg, PA branch to success.
Position Core Profile: The Branch Manager is responsible for driving the achievement of the company’s mission, strategy, goals, and objectives within the branch through effective corporate partnership, strategic planning, and successful execution. This role requires the ability to scale the organization by leveraging delegation, optimizing processes, ensuring the right person is in the right seat, and adhering to disciplined practices. The Branch Manager will lead the workforce collaboratively, utilizing effective delegation, fostering professional development, and making confident decisions to ensure the branch's success.
Accountabilities:
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily branch operations, ensuring high-quality performance and customer satisfaction. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Customer and Relationship Management: Manage and nurture relationships with key clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for growth and retention. Oversee and develop strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable service delivery, favorable terms, and effective problem resolution.
- Financial Management: Ensure that financial performance aligns with the budget and financial targets, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop branch personnel through regular meetings, performance reviews, and coaching. Promote continuous improvement and manage hiring processes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and address issues promptly.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and articulate the overall vision and strategic goals for the branch, ensuring that these align with corporate objectives and are communicated effectively to all staff members. Ensure that all financial, sales, and operational targets are communicated clear to staff, and work to achieve these targets through effective management and leadership.
- Safety and Environmental Practices: Enforce safety protocols and environmental practices within the branch. Lead by example to maintain a safety-first culture.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree is required; a degree in horticulture or a related field is preferred.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the landscape industry, with a strong background in operational roles.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a service-centric environment, demonstrating a track record of managing teams and driving performance.
