Bumgardners Landscape Management, Inc. is a family-owned business located in Medford, Oregon, specializing in comprehensive landscape management services for both commercial and residential properties. As a Landscape Account Manager, you will be instrumental in managing client accounts, ensuring client retention, driving new sales, and contributing to our business development efforts. You will collaborate with the production team to ensure projects are executed efficiently and correctly. This role also includes winter responsibilities with our snow operations team. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients by selling commercial landscape maintenance contracts, enhancement services, and snow removal contracts.
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals to clients.
- Conduct daily site visits and maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction.
- Provide clear direction to landscape crews on maintenance service orders, ensuring a well-organized, planned approach.
- Consistently offer additional services to clients, educating them on enhancing their landscape investment.
- Plan and schedule daily activities while meeting regularly with the Operations Manager to review progress, sales goals, and performance.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Expertise in landscape maintenance standards, plant material, and installation practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both with clients and co-workers.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Positive, cooperative attitude and a willingness to work within a team.
- Self-motivated with a highly organized work style.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Degree in Landscape Management, Horticulture, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance preferred.
- At least 5 years of sales experience is preferred.
- Certification as a Landscape Professional or Landscape Technician is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
